About Cristo Rey Institute for Career Development

The CRISTO REY INSTITUTE FOR CAREER DEVELOPMENT aims to develop and enrich the skills of the youth, giving them the necessary training and readiness for career growth. CRICD was founded by  Eduardo V. Borbon, former Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, Hotel and Restaurant Management and Tourism of Lyceum of Batangas, to offer alternative post-secondary education in the form of human resource development initially for the tourism and the hotel and restaurant industries and now also for business and computer technology.

With the motto of the institute LABORE ET HONORE – success through work and honor – CRICD was envisioned to form students to be accomplished men and women prepared as middle level manpower for industry. CRICD believes that skills development – LABOR – needed for professional growth will be fully attained without character formation – HONOR.
